FlashPoint Technology claims two dozen defendants violate its patents on digital photo technology, including Bushnell, GE, Leica, Minox, Leica, Walgreen and Wal-Mart, in Delaware Federal Court. FlashPoint filed a similar claim against cell phone companies, including AT&T, Cingular, Kyocera, Motorola, Nokia and Research in Motion.

Aegis Defense Services claims Aegis Mission Essential Personnel is violating its "Aegis" trademark for security services in the USA, Iraq and Afghanistan, in DC Federal Court.

Renaissance Learning claims to be the world leader in computer-based assessment for K-12 schools, and says AR-Answers.com is violating its "Accelerated Reader," "AR" and "Renaissance Learning" trademarks, in Madison, Wis., Federal Court.

Arthur Hardy Enterprises claims Visitor Publishing violates its "Mardi Gras Guide" trademark, in New Orleans Federal Court.
