Ford Motor Co. sued Beechnut Auto Repair, Ford Doctors, and Ray Moon in a trademark complaint Houston Federal Court; Ford also says the defendants falsely claim that their mechanics are "Ford trained and certified."
Simon & Schuster and McGraw Hill violated copyright by reprinting Steven Harris' 1984 book about circus clowns, "This is my Trunk," after it went out of print, Harris claims in Manhattan Federal Court.
Marvel Entertainment claims in Brooklyn Federal Court that these defendants are churning out comic books with a bogus Marvel trademark, and Marvel characters to which they have no rights: ZX Trading Corp., ZX Marketing, ZX Industries, Jian Zhong Hu, Jian Lin Hu, Lin F. Hu, and Xian Mei Huang.
