DuPont and Rhodia conspired to steal trade secrets and violate trademarked processes to make nylon, using butadiene-based ADN technology, Invista Technologies claims in Manhattan Federal Court. Invista says it paid DuPont $4 billion for the technology.

Photographer James McCoy claims the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau reproduced and posted his photo in Buffalo-Niagara International Airport without his permission, in Buffalo Federal Court.

Harry and David claims 1-800-Flowers.com violated its "Harry and David" and "Fruit of the Month Club" trademarks to draw customers to its Web site, in Medford, Ore., Federal Court. It filed separate, similar claims against FTD Group, Provide Commerce, Delightful Deliveries, The Fruit Company, and Houdini Inc.
