LEESBURG, VA. (CN) - A baby was born prematurely and died at 6 days old because of e. coli poisoning his mother contracted from Totino's frozen pizza, the parents claim in Loudoun County Court. They say Totino's recalled the pizzas the day after their baby died.
The parents sued Totino's/Jenos, General Mills, and Wal-Mart, where they bought the pizzas. Their child was born on Oct. 26, 2007 and died on Nov. 2.
Totino's recalled the pizzas on Nov. 1, the complaint states.
The parents are represented by Bill Hotz of Nashville, Tenn.
