Parents Say Principal Pawed Little Girl

LAKELAND, Fla. (CN) - An elementary school principal sexually pawed a student and put digital images of her face on the images of naked bodies, the girl's parents claim in Polk County Court.

Scott Lake Elementary principal John "Jack" Stelmack "created and possessed pornographic images and materials involving Jane Doe by digitally transposing photographs of her face upon the bodies of other naked persons, which conduct became public (and common knowledge among their friends and fellow student) as the result of ensuing investigation and arrest of Stelmack," the parents say.

They say the school district never should have hired Stelmack, who is not a party to this case.

They say Stelmack "abruptly resigned as principal of Ellicot Elementary School in suburban Buffalo, New York (one day after a bus driver at that school was arrested for possession and accessing child pornography on the Internet) and that he had created and possessed similar digitally transposed child pornography involving at least one of his students there."

The family demands damages for battery, negligence and loss of consortium. They are represented by R. Kent Lilly.
