LAS VEGAS (CN) - Insect exterminators killed their 26-day-old baby, parents say in Clark County Court. David and Cynthia Blakemore say Desert Pest Control killed their son by applying Talstarone TM Multi-Insecticide in the Cleveland Court Apartments.
The Blakemores say that despite their repeated complaints for 6 months, the apartment owner, defendant Isabel Griffith, refused to deal with a cockroach infestation. They say Griffith finally acted only after action from the Clark County Health Department. Exterminators sprayed the apartment complex on Oct. 9, 2006 and their previously healthy baby died that night, the Blakemores say.
They also sued KLC, which does business as Desert Pest Control, and FMC, which makes and distributes Talstarone.
They are represented by Bradley Hofland.
