BOSTON — Paramount convinced a Massachusetts federal court to dismiss a complaint brought against it by a former elected official who says 60 Minutes’s “‘editorial handling of Vice President [Kamala] Harris’s public statements [in the interview] — particularly through compression, omission, and juxtaposition across platforms — materially impaired the electorate’s ability to understand federal executive policy and its constitutional boundaries.’” He failed to articulate how the interview harmed him personally.
