Pandemic Orders

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker had the authority to declare a state of emergency and issue emergency orders relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, the state’s Supreme Court ruled, in a case brought by various hair and tanning salons, restaurants, houses of worship and businesses and individuals.
