Panasonic Settlement

Panasonic agreed Friday to pay $4.7 million to indirect purchasers -- or those who bought its capacitors through distributors -- to settle price-fixing claims.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Panasonic agreed Friday to pay $4.7 million to indirect purchasers -- or those who bought its capacitors through distributors -- to settle price-fixing claims.

As part of the settlement, Panasonic will also cooperate in the prosecution of non-settling defendants in the scheme.
