Pal Demands $5 Million From Mark Burnett|For Work On ‘Survivor’ And ‘Apprentice’

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Conrad Riggs demands millions of dollars from Mark Burnett Productions, claiming Burnett breached a partnership agreement to share profits from TV shows, including "Survivor" and "The Apprentice." Riggs claims he helped Burnett climb his way to the top of the "reality TV" business, for which Burnett promised him "10% of the economic benefits that Burnett received from the enterprise."

Riggs claimed he accepted Burnett's offer, in lieu of a salary. Now, he says, Burnett is worth more than $500 million, and he welshed on their deal. Riggs claims Burnett owes him and his business, Cloudbreak Entertainment, more than $5 million. He is represented by Bart Williams with Munger, Tolles & Olson.
