This photo made available by the National Archives and Records Administration shows Bugle Corps of Hokoku Seinen Dan gather at Gate 1 to give proper send off to 125 of their number being sent to Santa Fe Internment Camp at Tule Lake concentration camp, California, March 4, 1945. Government records show that Hidekazu Tamura, a former Japanese-American living in California, was at Tule Lake starting Oct. 8, 1943, and was sent to Santa Fe Internment Camp on Dec. 27, 1944. Records provided by the Tule Lake Committee show Tamura was a member of the Hokoku Seinen Dan’s leadership.(Courtesy of the National Archives and Records Administration via AP)
