NASHVILLE (CN) - Country star Travis Tritt's managers canceled a concert at the Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse in Burgettsville, Pa., and rescheduled at the Y108 Hot Country Jam in a thinly veiled move to rake in more money, Starlake Roadhouse claims in Davidson County Court.
Starlake, which owns the Pepsi Roadhouse, has accused Duke Cooper and Bobby Cudd, the country star's managers, of backing out of the March 30, 2007 commitment in order to accept a better offer from Y108, Pittsburgh's leading country radio station. Y108 has asked Tritt to perform at the Y108 Hot Country Jam in July.
Starlake claims Tritt's team cited "productions concerns" as pretext for canceling the concert in Burgettsville.
The venue demands actual and punitive damages for the alleged breach of contract.
