Oregon tribe challenges offshore wind facility

The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians ask for injunctive relief to prevent the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management from allowing private companies to develop large offshore wind energy projects on the Oregon coast. The tribe accuses the bureau of incomplete environmental analysis and threatening its traditional and cultural resources by approving the development projects.
