Oregon Says Travelers Cos. Fixed Prices

PORTLAND, ORE. (CN) - The Travelers Cos. conspired to set prices and rig bids for commercial insurance, the State of Oregon claims in Multnomah County Court. Attorney General Hardy Myers claims it was part of a nationwide antitrust conspiracy in restraint of trade by which insurers allocated customers and markets, so they could overcharge. See complaint.
