OREGON CITY (CN) - The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife defamed a couple after illegally seizing the congenitally deformed deer they raised and cared for, and its healthy offspring, James Filipetti and Francesca Mantel claim in Clackamas County Court. Fish & Wildlife turned the buck loose in the wild, refused a judge's order to return the mom, Snowball, and defamed the plaintiffs as "criminals," though they have broken no law, the couple says.
