(CN) – Oracle Corp. said today it will buy Sun Microsystems for $9.50 a share, or $7.4 billion. The deal comes two weeks after Sun refused IBM’s offer of $9.40 a share, after an initial offer of $10. Sun closed at $6.69 on Friday. Oracle and Sun said that factoring in Sun’s debt, the deal is worth $5.6 billion.
