A dehydrated, disoriented hiker who was rescued by L.A. sheriff’s officers claims in a federal complaint that, as he was “sharing his story about his spirituality and the spiritual meaning behind the subject hike,” one officer was “not too keen on (plaintiff’s) verbose and talkative demeanor,” and punched him in the face, breaking his jaw.
