A federal court in Colorado denied an internet service provider’s motion to dismiss record companies and music publishers’ copyright claims, finding they have sufficiently pleaded that the internet provider made money by tolerating the piracy of copyrighted songs and drew its subscribers by advertising that it offered the speed to “download just about anything.”
