ST. LOUIS (CN) — Officials at Washington University in St. Louis have issued an all clear to anyone on campus after a shooting Wednesday near the school's student union and performing arts building.
University spokeswoman Sue Killenberg McGinn told the AP that one person was injured in a shooting near the school's Mallinckrodt Center. The victim, identified as a woman who was struck in the arm by KTVI-TV, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Details about what led to the shooting were not immediately available.
Washington University officials immediately urged anyone on campus to stay in a safe place, but issued an all clear at 2:45 p.m.
