One hour notice on foreclosure isn’t enough, woman tells BofA

QUEENS, N.Y. (CN) — You have an hour to pay up: That's what Bank of America told Min Liu when it faxed a foreclosure notice to her at 10:40 a.m. - an hour and 5 minutes before auctioned off the property that day, Liu says in Queens County Court. Liu says 65 minutes is, "an unreasonable amount of time to cure" a default.
She says she showed up at 12:15 p.m. with enough money to cure the default, but Bank of America already had sold the property for far less that it is worth and refused to take her payment. She demands $550,000 for wrongful foreclosure and breach of contract.
