An engineer for an undisclosed defense contractor was sentenced Monday to five years in federal prison for selling stolen satellite information to an FBI agent he believed was a Russian agent. Prosecutors say the engineer planned to send the $3,500 he made from the sale to an “online paramour” he had never met.

LOS ANGELES — Gregory Allen Justice, 50, of Culver City, Calif., an engineer for an undisclosed defense contractor, was sentenced Monday to five years in federal prison for selling stolen satellite information to an FBI agent he believed was a Russian agent. Federal prosecutors say Justice planned to send the $3,500 he made from the sale to an “online paramour” he had never met.
