Olympic Dream Dashed

Huntington Beach police officers are entitled to qualified immunity on claims brought against them by a long-distance runner who said they deprived him of a chance to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio by causing an injury to his knee when they slammed him to the ground while he was recording their interaction with his brother, the Ninth Circuit ruled.
