CHICAGO (CN) - The mother of Olympic gold medalist speed skater Shani Davis demands that Google remove from the Internet some insulting statements she says she never made, but were posted by a man who has since died. Cherie Davis says the late Sean Healy falsely accused her of calling the U.S. Speedskating Federation "white supremacists" and "neo-Nazi genetic mutations." Davis says she never said any such thing, but Google refuses to remove the stuff from the Internet, claiming it cannot interfere with Healy's blog.
Davis' son, Shani Davis, was the first black athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in speed skating.
Cherie Davis is represented in Cook County Court by Kurt Kolar..
