OKLAHOMA CITY (CN) - The Oklahoma House has approved a wide-ranging, anti-abortion bill. S.B. 1878 would prohibit employers from "discriminating" against employees who refuse to participate in acts "on moral or religious grounds;" require women who request an abortion to get an ultrasound of the fetus - and pay for it - though the women would not have to look at the results of the test; make mifepristone available only with a physician's prescription; require clinics to post prominent signs stating that it is illegal for anyone "to force you to have an abortion;" and other measures.
