Oil Leases

The Northern Alaska Environmental Center et al. sued the Department of the Interior in Anchorage Federal Court for failing to conduct environmental impact statement or environment assessments before offering leases to drill for oil on 3.9 million acres in the National Petroleum Reserve–Alaska.
