Ohio Violates Clean Air Act, Sierra Club Says

COLUMBUS, OHIO (CN) - The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency adopted illegal air standards that exclude from regulation all polluters that emit "less than 10 tons (of pollutants) per year," the Sierra Club says in Federal Court.

The state has been violating the Clean Air Act since adopting this illegal standard on Dec. 1, 2006, the Sierra Club says.
