ELECTIONS - The state high court granted a writ of prohibition to prevent a candidate from sitting for the March 4, 2008 election for Mahoning County Sheriff. Mahoning County improperly exercised quasi-judicial power to allow a candidate onto the ballot who did not meet the position's supervisory experience requirement.
