Officer Who Shot Man Sues Baltimore PD

BALTIMORE (CN) - Officer Andre Robinson claims the Baltimore Police Department invaded his privacy and violated its own regulations by releasing information about an internal investigation that led to media headlines such as, "Police: Officer Dated Wife of Man He Shot" and "Did Love Triangle Cause Police Shooting?"

Robinson claims in Baltimore County Court that he was defending himself while on duty in the Oct. 13, 2007 shooting.
