Obama Announces Healthcare Push

WASHINGTON (CN) - Health-care reform will be achieved by the end of the year, President Barack Obama said in emphasizing its urgency Monday. At the current rate of spending on healthcare, one fifth of our economy would be devoted to paying for healthcare, he said. Obama said reform would cut costs by more than $2 trillion each year. "I will not rest until the dream of universal healthcare is finally achieved," Obama said.
