NYPD Must Deliver Info on Mass Arrests

MANHATTAN (CN) - A federal judge ordered the New York Police Department to release 2,000 page of documents on the NYPD's infiltration of protest groups during the 2004 Republican National Convention. The New York Civil Liberties Union demanded the documents after more than 1,800 protesters were arrested, fingerprinted and detained.

U.S. District Judge Richard Sullivan upheld previous rulings that the NYPD must deliver the documents.
