New York City mayoral candidate and officials with the state Reform Party claim in court that the Campaign Finance Board improperly ceded authority debate-organizing authority to private actors — namely Spectrum News NY1, which apparently scheduled an Oct. 10 debate at Symphony Space on the Upper West Side based on a poll Albanese says was defective.
