ALBANY (CN) - Three towns and Saratoga County sued General Electric and the US EPA, saying a Hudson River dredging project planned for this spring will stir up the 1.3 million pounds of carcinogenic PCBs that GE dumped into the river from its capacitor manufacturing plants in Hudson Falls and Fort Edwards. Stillwater, Waterford and Halfmoon want the dredging enjoined, damages, and an alternate source of drinking water if the defendants do it.
The plaintiffs are represented in Federal Court by Donald Boyajian with Dreyer Boyajian.
