U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes’ father, Anthony Nunes Jr., sued reporter Ryan Lizza and Hearst Magazine Media for $25 million in federal court, claiming “a scandalous hit piece” in Esquire defamed him, causing him “insult, pain, embarrassment, humiliation, mental suffering, anguish, and injury.”

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes’ father, Anthony Nunes Jr., brought a $25 million federal complaint against reporter Ryan Lizza and Hearst Magazine Media, claiming “a scandalous hit piece” in Esquire defamed him, causing him “insult, pain, embarrassment, humiliation, mental suffering, anguish, and injury.”
