Nuclear Radiation

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has reduced by half the amount of radiation to which future workers at Yucca Mountain radioactive waste repository may be exposed, per year, 10,000 years from now.

The commission's new target is that the workers will be exposed to 1.5 mRads of radiation per year.
