Not for the Faint of Heart

HOUSTON (CN) - A man claims in court that an alleged "all natural" sexual enhancement pill made blood squirt from his penis onto the walls of his hotel room during intercourse, fracturing his penis and forcing a surgeon to "deglove" it to repair it.

Adrian C. sued New Jersey-based Haute Health LLC, and others, in Harris County Court.

In his complaint, A.C. says that he and his "paramour" stopped by a gas station on their way to a motel.

"While paying, the store clerk told plaintiff he should consider purchasing VirilisPro and that it was all natural and safe," the complaint states.

"Based on the store clerk's advice, plaintiff purchased a package of VirilisPro; he took one of the pills and continued on to the Scottish Inn with his paramour.

"During sexual intercourse, plaintiff experienced significant pain and observed a large quantity of blood squirting out of his penis onto the sheets, walls and mirror in the hotel room; his penis and scrotum were visibly swollen."

A.C. says an ambulance took him to an emergency room, where a doctor "recommended penile exploration surgery; he advised plaintiff that he may never regain erectile function and that he may have long-term damage to his urethra and problems urinating for the rest of his life," the complaint states.

It continues: "After some initial exploratory surgery, the emergency room physician elected to deglove (or remove all of the skin from) plaintiff's penis.

"With the skeletonized penis exposed, the emergency room doctor was able to observe that plaintiff's urethra had separated completely. The doctor repaired plaintiff's urethra and other tissue damage resulting from the penile fracture, inserted a catheter, and closed the incision.

"Plaintiff was released from the hospital a few days after his surgery, but the catheter was not removed for nearly three (3) weeks. Doctors again warned him that he may never have an erection or be able to father children and that his ureters may close resulting in a permanent inability to urinate naturally.

"Doctors advised plaintiff not to even attempt sexual intercourse for at least one (1) month; they also advised him that he should not do any heavy lifting for at least six (6) months.

"Prior to taking VirilisPro, plaintiff's penis was fully functioning." (Parentheses in complaint.)

Also named as defendants are Carney & Carney Financial Services LLC, Solid Rock Worship Center Inc., Michael Heilig, Michael Carney and Tyra Carney, all of New Jersey.

A.C. seeks medical expenses and punitive damages for product liability, negligence, breach of warranty, deceptive trade, mental anguish, pain and suffering, and "past and future loss of consortium."

He is represented by Melissa Moore.
