Norman Hsu Guilty of Campaign Violations

MANHATTAN (CN) - One-time political high roller Norman Hsu was convicted Tuesday of all four counts of violating election laws by contributing to political campaigns in the names of others. It's been a bad month for Hsu, who pleaded guilty to mail fraud and wire fraud on May 7, from an investment scheme in which he defrauded investors of millions of dollars.

Hsu, 57, who embarrassed Democrats during the last presidential campaign, and briefly disappeared, will be sentenced on all counts on Aug. 19.
