Nomination for DOD Counsel OK’d by Sen. Armed Services

(CN) The Senate Armed Services Committee on a voice vote and en bloc approved Jeh Charles Johnson to be General Counsel for the Department of Defense, along with William J. Lynn III to be Deputy Secretary of Defense, Robert F. Hale to be Under Secretary of Defense and Chief Financial Officer, and Michèle Flournoy to be Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. The nominations were then reported to the floor.
