DALLAS — A Dallas cop crashed into a semi-truck and was pushed into an innocent motorist’s vehicle while pursuing a street racer without his lights or siren on, “because he ‘was never behind close enough to turn [on] the lights and sirens,’” but that motorist cannot sue for injuries to her and her children because official immunity protects the officer’s behavior. Because the cop is immune from suit, the motorist’s claims against the city are dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
