Ninth Circuit

ENERGY - An electricity company sought to recover damages, claiming it paid a higher rate because the defendant energy companies manipulated the market. "Try as it may, (plaintiff) cannot avoid the fact that it seeks what amounts to having the courts determine what rates the energy companies should have charged instead of the rates they did charge," the Ninth Circuit found.
