PORTLAND, Ore. — The Ninth Circuit reverses a lower court’s judgment granted to Alaska Airlines on a pilot’s class action alleging that the airline should provide paid leave for short-term military leave because it provides such leave for multiple non-military reasons. The district court incorrectly found that no reasonable jury could find military leave comparable to non-military leave; comparability is an issue for a jury to determine.
