Niagara Falls Has a Bad Cop, Woman Says

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (CN) - Niagara Falls police Officer Ryan Warme forced a woman to perform oral sex on him, with his hand on his gun, and threatened her with death, she claims in Niagara County Court.

The plaintiff claims Warme forced her to give him oral sex on Sept. 24, 2007, after police sent Warme to her apartment in response to her call that another man had violated a protective order she had against him.

She claims that before this assault, in February 2007, she had complained to the Niagara Falls Police Department in writing that Warme had been threatening and harassing her.

She claims that the city assured her then that Warme would not be sent to respond to requests she made for police assistance.

And she claims that before the alleged sexual assault of Sept. 24, 2007, when "defendant Ryan G. Warme harassed and assaulted the plaintiff, he also threatened the plaintiff if she told anyone that he had harassed and assaulted her, the he (sic) would take plaintiff to the Tuscarora Indian Reservation and shoot her."

She demands damages for assault and battery and civil rights violations. She is represented by Michael Skoney of Niagara Falls.
