WILMINGTON, Del. – Lee Newspapers, which never recovered from the debt it incurred in buying Pulitzer Newspapers, filed for bankruptcy, listing more than $1 billion in debts. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Pulitzer and other affiliates also filed.
