New York Attorney Who|Stole $244K Disbarred

(CN) - New York attorney Craig J.J. Snyder was disbarred after pleading guilty to third-degree grand larceny, a felony. Snyder was convicted of pocketing $244,000 in settlement funds he was holding in escrow.

The First Department Appellate Division in Manhattan said Snyder's crime was "grounds for disbarment" and ordered him to pay restitution.
