NEW YORK APPELLATE DIVISIONS

ENVIRONMENT - The appellate division affirmed a modified ruling for Orange County after the county challenged two environmental findings statements. Neither statement fully identified the nature and extent of the wetlands that would be disturbed or affected by the construction of the proposed water pipeline, the circuit ruled. But the environmental document required to be prepared by the village board of trustees should be characterized as an amended final environmental impact statement.
