LAS VEGAS (CN) - Three Clark County District Court judges have been tapped to tackle legal issues that may arise on Election Day. "When an issue related to the election comes up, we want to be able to address it quickly and provide interested parties with timely access to the judicial system," Chief Judge Kathy Hardcastle told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
This is the first time the district court has put judges on standby to resolve potential election-related disputes, the newspaper reported.
The judges are Valerie Adair, David Barker and Douglas Herndon.
