Netflix Offers

LOS ANGELES — A federal court in California denied Netflix’s motion to dismiss Oscar-winning actress and stand-up comic Monique Hicks’ race and gender discrimination suit against it. Hicks claims Netflix paid lowballed her with a $500,000 offer for her stand-up special and retaliated against her when she challenged it as discriminatory.
