Neil Schroeder Appointed to Illinois Bench

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (CN) - Neil Schroeder was appointed associate judge in the Third Circuit of Illinois.

Schroeder takes over for Kyle Napp, who was elected circuit judge and took that office on Dec. 3, 2012.

Schroeder was appointed by the circuit judges of the Third District, which includes Madison County.

Schroeder earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale in 1993. He was an assistant state's attorney in Montgomery County from 1994-1998 and has been an assistant state's attorney for Madison County since 1998.
