NEES Won’t Pay For Oil Pollution By Salem Gas

BOSTON (CN) - The New England Electric System is not indirectly liable for oil pollution caused by Salem Gas, the Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled, because NEES acquired its interest in the gas company decades after the contaminated site had been sold.
