Nebraska Supreme Court revives vax mandate suit

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Nebraska Supreme Court reversed the lower court’s decision to dismiss a group of students’ lawsuit against Creighton University in Omaha after it imposed a Covid vaccine mandate and disenrolled them when they declined to get vaccinated. Their contract and conversion claims were plausible, but the causes of action they brought for negligence and under state consumer protection laws were not.
