Nebraska Makes Its Black Workers Pay More| For Health Insurance, Class Action Claims

LINCOLN, NEB. (CN) - The State of Nebraska and its Health and Human Services Department force black employees to pay more for health insurance, with fewer plan choices, one such worker claims in Lancaster County Court. Sandra Cartwright claims 96 of the defendants' black workers live in three ZIP codes, and workers in those ZIP codes only must pay more money for less coverage, with less choice of plans.
